The Foundation -
The Denan Project, Inc. is a 501 (C) (3)
non-profit foundation incorporated in the State of Connecticut in the United States Of
America. Although based in the U.S.A., our vision is global.
Unlike many other nonprofits, we adhere to a high standard that we call Transparency In
Giving. Our financial
records are professionally reviewed, and we ensure that 100% of the funds donated go toward helping the people of
Denan. To assist us in helping the people of Denan, we have partnered with the Ogaden Welfare and Development
Association, a nongovernmental organization (NGO), that manages the
operation of our hospital.

| Transparency In Giving - The Denan Project is proud of its origin as a grassroots organization, and that founding philosophy is at work today. Board members receive no financial compensation of any kind. In fact, when members travel to Denan, Ethiopia, they do so at their own expense. Our meetings are held in the homes of board members.
